Artist(s) :
Braden Evans
(guitar and vocals)

Music Genre: Pop/Folk

Profile:
Braden's raw emotive voice silences the noise of our urban jungle and so it's not surprising to hear that Jeff Buckley was his childhood idol, introducing him to the beauty of delicate sounds he still describes as cool.

Born and bred in Sydney's artistic hub, the Inner West, Braden began writing and performing throughout his childhood.

With a natural flare, the talented singer-songwriter's original songs led him on a path laden with attainable dreams.

Enjoying success as part of hard rock outfit Rivers-End, the former band's self-titled debut release was met favourably by fans and received radio play across many stations.

The success of this major feat was the golden ticket Rivers-End needed to perform as supporting band at famed bands such as Gyroscope and Birds of Tokyo concerts.

Trying his hand at a solo career, Braden is currently finalising his debut album with Sydney-based producer Lamar Lowder (Yothuyindi, Jerk).

Artist's Comment:

"I want to write songs that speak to people the way my favourite songs spoke to me."
