Profile:
After being crowned the Rexona King of Cool in his homeland, Malaysian-born Dyan Tai migrated to Sydney. Little did Dyan know that this move was the catalyst to earning a new fan base and helping him gain nationwide appeal.
In a blink of an eye, Dyan was the opening act for Australian household names such as Jessica Mauboy and Pete Wentz.
With a flourishing career in the making, Dyan took part in the musical circuit, performing at popular festivals throughout Sydney, including The Newtown Festival, Mardi Gras '10, Sydney Fringe Festival, Fair Day 2010, Strathfield Spring Festival and the International Student Festival.
Last year, Dyan won the inaugural Sydney Vision Song Contest. Humbled by this feat, Dyan attributed this success to the his talent borne out of his classical music training from the age of seven.
